Question 1

Will using Senextrac get my WhatsApp number banned?

Accepted Answer

Reading and exporting a group's visible member list is a passive, read-only action — it doesn't trigger WhatsApp's spam detection, because nothing is sent or clicked on your behalf. The real ban risk in this category comes from bulk-messaging tools that automate WhatsApp Web to send messages, which is why Senextrac's sender uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform instead of browser automation.

Question 2

Is extracting WhatsApp group contacts legal?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you do with the data, not the extraction itself. Collecting contact details you're already a member of the group alongside is generally fine; using that data for unsolicited marketing without consent isn't, and may violate GDPR or similar data-protection laws depending on where your contacts are. Senextrac's sender specifically requires a recorded consent date and source for every recipient before a campaign can queue them, for exactly this reason.

Question 3

Does Senextrac work with WhatsApp Business?

Accepted Answer

Yes — extraction works the same way on both personal WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business accounts in your browser. WhatsApp Business accounts additionally get Lists (Labels) support for extracting all chats inside a custom list at once.

Question 4

What file formats can I export to?

Accepted Answer

CSV, Excel (.xls), JSON, or vCard (.vcf) — combined into one file across all selected groups, or as a separate file per group named after each group.

Question 5

Does my WhatsApp data leave my browser?

Accepted Answer

Extraction itself happens entirely in your browser — names and numbers are read from WhatsApp's own data and nothing is uploaded automatically. Data only reaches our server when you take a deliberate action that needs it: creating a sending campaign (so it can be queued and sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform) or choosing to save contacts to your account. Downloaded export files never touch our server at all.

Question 6

What's the difference between extraction and sending?

Accepted Answer

Extraction is read-only: Senextrac reads what WhatsApp already displays to you, nothing more. Sending is a separate, opt-in feature that submits approved message templates to Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform API — not simulated typing or clicking inside WhatsApp Web.

Question 7

What's included in the free plan?

Accepted Answer

Up to 20 contacts per group per download and up to 50 messages per day, with no credit card required and no time limit. Both numbers are admin-configurable and shown live on the pricing page, so they may change.

Question 8

How much does Senextrac cost?

Accepted Answer

Free for the limits above, or $9.99/month for Pro — unlimited contacts per group, unlimited messages per day, and image/file attachments on campaigns. Cancel anytime.

Question 9

Which browsers are supported?

Accepted Answer

Chrome and Firefox, as a browser extension that runs directly on web.whatsapp.com.

Question 10

Can I attach an image or file to a campaign?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the Pro plan. The attachment is sent as the approved template's header image or document — the template itself must already support a media header for this to work.
